ANSWERING THE BIBLE:

Ezekiel's Vision
Q. What does Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ advices Titus about women, so that they do not bring shame to Lord?
Ans. St. Paul teaches the young women to be submissive to their own husbands, so that they do not bring shame to the God of the Bible.
To understand this let us consider the following verses:
21st Century King James Version:
4that they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,
5to be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the Word of God be not blasphemed. (Titus 2:4-5).
English Standard Version (ESV Bible):
4and so train the young women to love their husbands and children, 5to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled. (Titus 2:4-5).
Holman Christian Standard Bible:
4 so that they may encourage the young women to love their husbands and children, 5 to be sensible, pure, good homemakers, and submissive to their husbands, so that God's message will not be slandered. (Titus 2:4-5).
New Living Translation:
4 These older women must train the younger women to love their husbands and their children, 5 to live wisely and be pure, to work in their homes,[b] to do good, and to be submissive to their husbands. Then they will not bring shame on the word of God.(Titus 2:4-5)

b. Titus 2:5 Some manuscripts read to care for their homes

So the women must be submissive to their husbands so that God's message will not be slandered. Are the feminists' hearing, what the God of the Bible saying.....Huh!!

Q. Did the Heavens opened up and did Ezekiel see the vision of God?
Ans. Yes
To understand this let us look at the following verses...
21st Century King James Version:
Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, on the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the River of Chebar, that the heavens were opened and I saw visions of God.
2On the fifth day of the month (which was the fifth year of King Jehoiachin's captivity),
3the word of the LORD came expressly unto Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the River Chebar; and the hand of the LORD was there upon him. (Ezekiel 1:1-3).
English Standard Version:
1 In the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, on the fifth day of the month, as I was among the exiles by the Chebar canal, the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God.[a] 2On the fifth day of the month (it was the fifth year of the exile of King Jehoiachin), 3the word of the LORD came to Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the Chebar canal, and the hand of the LORD was upon him there. (Ezekiel 1:1-3).
a. Ezekiel 1:1: Or from God

Holman Christian Standard Bible:
1 In the thirtieth year, in the fourth [month], on the fifth [day] of the month, while I was among the exiles by the Chebar Canal, the heavens opened and I saw visions of God. 2 On the fifth [day] of the month—it was the fifth year of King Jehoiachin's exile— 3 the word of the LORD came directly to Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the Chebar Canal. And the LORD's hand was on him there. (Ezekiel 1:1-3).
New Century Version:
1 It was the thirtieth year, on the fifth day of the fourth month of our captivity. I was by the Kebar River among the people who had been carried away as captives. The sky opened, and I saw visions of God.
2 It was the fifth day of the month of the fifth year that King Jehoiachin had been a prisoner.3 The Lord spoke his word to Ezekiel son of Buzi in the land of the Babylonians by the Kebar River. There he felt the power of the Lord.

Ezekiel begins:  Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, on the fifth day of the month. But what was the year...? Another of those absurdities in the Bible?
