Attacks on Hindus continue
Attacks on the Hindu community continues for the sixth day as a Hindu temple was vandalised and torched in Daudkandi upazila of Comilla early Wednesday.
Locals had guarded the temple till late night. But as soon as they relaxed their vigilance in the morning, unknown miscreants vandalised and torched the temple.
Many Hindus have been injured and at least 2 have been killed as miscreants allegedly backed by opposition groups attacked Hindu neighbourhoods in different parts of the country following the death sentence handed down to Jamaat-e-Islami leader Delawar Hossain Sayedee.
