Rajshahi Jamaat activist held with weapon
Locals in Rajshahi’s Bagha on Tuesday apprehended an activist of the Jamaat-e-Islami after he was found in possession of sharp weapons.
The apprehended man, Jahangir Alam is a businessman in Bagha’s Barkhadia bazar, police said.

“A knife, a Chinese axe and an iron rod were found wrapped in burlap in Jahangir Alam’s medicine shop”, said Sub-Inspector Nurul Islam of the Bagha Police Station.

The local people beat up Jahangir after the weapons were recovered and informed the police.
