A message on a board next to the ticket barriers was advertising the offer.
The notice read: "Victoria's special offer: A free hug from a member of staff. (Don't be shy. Give it a try.)"
Passengers were seen taking up on the Tube station's offer, embracing station workers.
In 2012, St Pancras train station took part in an "epic" hug session. Four couples entered the Guinness World Records for the longest hug, lasting 24 hours and 44 minutes.
