TALIBANISATION OF THE INDIAN MEDIA...??!!
Yes, you have heard it right!! The "Talibanisation of the Great Indian Media" is happening slowly and very slyly.
Before I delve in this topic let me tell what I meant by the term, "Talibanisation".
I think everyone of you who watch Television Channels have heard the name of Talibans of Afghanistan who are known to promote a particular type of thought process---good or bad.
Their decisions are unilateral or they do not care whether there is another side of any story/event.
In a similar way, the Indian Media off late has been behaving in "Talibanish way"---trying to promote a culture which they think is correct.
Starting from the days of Arushi Case to the Latest happenings in Mangalore, we have seen enough of "Faces of Media Terrorists", who have created havoc to the Indian Families, before their guilt had been established. What is more important is that, "They are still unapologetic" about the trauma they caused to some families without those families found guilt in the cases and government is letting these breed of "Talibans" go off Scot free.
It is true that whatever has happened in Mangalore is unfortunate and should not have happened, but let me highlight some of the fact of the "Talibanese Media" who are bent of promoting "Free-Sex, Alcoholism, Prostitution in Public Places, Gender Bias, Politicians like Renuka Choudhury/Digvijay Singh, who are known to humiliate the Hindus", etc.
My fight against these "Talibans" would continue but for the moment let me concentrate on the events in Mangalore and how the "Talibans in Indian Society came to the rescue of pub-culture in India".
1. The manner in which the things progressed before the incident, during the incident and after the incident are really sad. This event should not have happened if the Pub Owner was taken to task after complaints from the local public. On the other side, no one has the right to take law on their own hands---this is dangerous and should be condemned.
2. If there were complaints regarding some illicit trade/activities going inside the pub, then why did the police not take any action against that pub owner or the girls and boys who were involved in those events; before the situation turned worst.
3. Why everyone is talking of women being molested??!! What about the boys who were also assaulted in the said incident? Is it not a gender bias?? Why is the media channels, promoting a gender bias? Moreover, who is Shobha Dey to comment whether people should protest against pub-culture or not?? If she and some of her drunkard friends in NDTV Ltd, Congress Party or Times Today, likes/wants to promote "The Drinking or Boozing" pub-culture in Bangalore and throughout India, they are welcome in a immature democracy like India; but let her not give sermons saying, "that those who promote pub-culture are progressive and those who root for milk-culture are regressive". We have enough wisdom to understand what is good or bad.
We don’t want to see the shadow of Barkha Dutt in Sohba De. Ms. Barkha Dutt finds time to meet the Chief Minister of a state called Jammu and Kashmir, which contributes almost negligible revenues to the Indian Union, but hardly gets time to meet the Chief Minister of Assam---a state which contributes huge revenues to India, from Tea Gardens and Coal and Petroleum. I have never in my life heard both these ladies speak for the people of Assam or about looting of revenues from Assam, by the central government and spending this money elsewhere.
4. Why is the media after Mr.Mutalik, when things could/might have been happened without his consent? If the media can solve all the cases then what is the use of any judicial system in India. We could have trial by the media and hang a person---I call this "Talibanisation of the Indian Media….."
5. There is a difference between pub culture and Indian Culture. One has to define what Indian culture is before they can relate Indian Culture with the pub culture. Indian culture includes the culture of all the tribes and sub-tribes in India (especially those from North East, West Bengal and Bihar/Jharkhand), who do drink their home made alcohol during festival time--but this is not "Pub--culture".
6. When will the barbarism of the media stop?? We are tired of the media hooliganism. Last year a well educated doctor’s family from Uttar Pradesh was a victim of media anarchy ---I am talking of Arushi Talwar case. What has the government done to book those media personals who were responsible for causing trauma to the family of Arushi Talwar? It is surprising that the perpetrators of the crime are still at large and are showing their faces in various media channels---no arrests have been made till date.
7. Labeling charges against someone does not make him a criminal and I hope Mr.Arnab Goswami does not make the same mistake again. Times Now, surprisingly came out with a long list of charges against Mr.Mutalik, saying he has criminal background. Has the charges been proved Mr.Goswami. Who are you fooling?? What about Mr.Laloo Yadav, Ms.Mayawati, Mr.Jaylalitha, Mr.Shabuddin?? How did the present democratic set up allow them to stand for elections or allowed them occupy such high posts?
7. Becoming progressive does not mean one has to take alcohol and indulge in prostitution in public places?? Which culture says we should encourage, drunkards, alcoholics, prostitution on public places, etc??
8. What has the government done to clip the wings of media channels which present fabricated news? During the Mumbai attack, a TV Channel came up with false news that firing has again starting in CST, Mumbai, which led to a near stampede situation there… Why were erring TV Personnel/journalists has still not been hooked and booked by the police for spreading wrong information to the masses. If people make mistake media highlights them to make money but when they themselves commit crimes they just try to cover them up….This is another example of "Talibanisation of Indian Media". The Indian media is trying to thrust their "junks" through our throats in our stomachs and brains.
9. Why till now media has not come up with any report what was actually happening inside that pub, before the incidents took place. Many were saying that the said pub was promoting a prostitution racket. Has some liquor companies paid heavily to the Indian media, to promote Pub-Culture??
10. The way or the manner in which those young men protested may be wrong, but then why only negative of any movement be projected??
If the media goons should not try to inject their "Garbage" into the young minds. Government should take strong measures so that such cultural invasion get stopped.
