When there is tension in the Middle East due a clash of ideologies between the Jews and Muslims, Mr.Zakir Hussein of Bhanga, a small hamlet, in South Assam's Muslim dominated district, Karimganj, is mad with love/affection for the unfortunate Jewish Child, Master Moshe, whose parents got killed in the Nariman House attack by the terrorists sneaking into India from Pakistan.
ON THE LEFT HAND SIDE IS THE PICTURE OF "MUMBAI HERO" MR.ZAKIR HUSSEIN WITH LITTLE MOSHE.
It is worth noting that Mr.Zakir Hussein of Assam, is the real Hero who actually saved the life of little Moshe on the fateful day of 26-11-08.
He has seen the horrors of death on the fateful day in Nariman House from a very close distance. Mr.Hussein actually visited his hometown in Bhanga, in Karimganj District of Assam, on last Saturday; when his name as the "Mumbai Hero" had already spread to the nearby districts of Assam. As a result of this incident a large number of friends and relatives actually thronged his house in Bhanga; everyone waiting with baited breadth to know about the Mumbai (Bombay) incident.
In between Mr.Zakir Hussein actually found time to meet a barrage of local media personals, where he narrated his experience on that dark day in Nariman House. He started by appreciating the warm and hospitable nature of the Jews who were there in Nariman House. He said that when the terrorist had entered Nariman House, he actually held the baby around his arms to save him from the Predators. Till the end this brave gentleman's only work was to see the safety of the little child Moshe. Though the parents of unfortunate Jewish Child was killed by the barbaric attack of the terrorits in Nariman House, but it is due to the unflinching efforts of Mr.Zakir Hussein that the life of this child was saved.
He was seen commenting time and again, "I would like to visit Tel Aviv, my heart goes for the little child Moshe. I do not know how he is now". He also continuously mentioned about the hospitable nature of the Jews.
He said, "Our family in South Assam is economically challenged. In order to alleviate the financial bottlenecks of my family, I landed in Mumbai (Bombay). I managed to get a job as a Chef in Nariman House, from Mr.Gabriel, who was at the helm of affiairs in that place. After being highly satisfied with my work, Mr.Gabriel, promoted me to the job of Room Incharge. I have seen from very near, the hospitable nature of the Jews. That is why my wish is to visit Tel Aviv, Israel".
Mr.Zakir Hussein' s mind gets upset, if the thought of Master Moshe comes to his memory. If he can accumulate some cash then, then he would invariably visit Tel Aviv, to see Master Moshe, commented the 23 year old Zakir, from this small town, in South Assam.
Note: It is most unfortunate to note that most of the secular English and Hindi media channels forgot to mention this gentleman's (Mr.Zakir Hussein) name even once, during all these days.
I have tried my level best to translate the text from Bangla to English, to maintain the true spirit of the article. However, if anyone provides me a better translation of the above article from the reputed Bangla Newspaper of South Assam, Dainik Jugasankha (http://dainikjugasankha.net/), his work would be appreciated and placed in this blog.
