Uddhav asks for Bharat Ratna for "Patriotic" Diwan of Ajmer Sharif
Sena Supremo says the Ajmer Diwan should be given a Bharat Ratna for opposing the Pak PM's visit
Shiv Sena supremo Uddhav Thackeray believes the Diwan of Ajmer Sharif, Zainul Abedin Ali Khan should be conferred the Bharat Ratna for publicly opposing the visit of Pakistan Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf to the Ajmer Sharif dargah.

Speaking at a rally in Amravati, the Sena chief said Khan should be recognised for his patriotism. Khan has spoken out against the Pak PM's visit stating he would never welcome aman whose soldiers had killed and beheaded an Indian soldier.

Speaking to the media after the rally, senior Sena functionary and a secretary of the party Vinayak Raut said Khan had echoed the sentiments of every real Indian. “We all agree with what Khan had said. Khan is a true Hindustani. He spoke with full courage and conviction and hence, Uddhav saheb asked for the highest award to be given to him,” said Raut. Later during the day Ashraf visited the dargah along with his family members.
